Turgutreis is situated just 30 minutes west of Bodrum along the coast. Away from the hustle of Bodrum (but not too far if you fancy a day or night out). With its appealing slightly cooler climate, beautiful scenery and more relaxed night life, it is a perfect atmosphere for everyone. It was only 9 years ago that Turgutreis was opened to the scuba diving world, due to unknown treasures and the huge variety of amphora's that reside in this area. 

Aquanaut diving offers a professional service for both certified scuba divers and beginnner divers. All our staff hold a current certification in First Aid/CPR (EFR) and in emergency oxygen providing (PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider). We are the only dive centre in Bodrum with our own NITROX (Enriched Air) filling station. We are also proud to boast of certifying over 100 divers last season and hope to certify many more in the season of 2010.

Our dive sites are so local that we can reach them within 20 to 50 minutes. These scuba dive spots in Turgutreis have all been discovered by Aquanaut Diving School and are rich in nearly all species of Aegean fish, crustaceans, sponges, sea anemones and Aegean corals. Scuba divers are often so surprised of the amount of aquatic life that they see during their dives, that they come again and again.

This historical area was one of the sea trade routes in ancient times, which is why you shouldn’t be surprised to see different and fascinating types of amphora (ancient pottery) and anchors.
