About us
Aquanaut
Diving
School
is a certified PADI and CMAS dive centre. We are
located right in the middle of the beautiful town of Turgutreis on the Bodrum
peninsular where you will
find us in the harbour. Aquanaut has been established in Turgutreis for over 7
years and is your key to discovering the clear blue waters and surprising
aquatic life of the
Aegean Sea.
Turgutreis
is situated just 30 minutes west of Bodrum along the coast. Away from the hustle
of Bodrum (but not too far if you fancy a day or night out). With its appealing
slightly cooler climate, beautiful scenery and more relaxed night life, it is a
perfect atmosphere for everyone. It was only 8 years ago that Turgutreis was
opened to the diving world, due to unknown treasures and the huge variety of amphora's
that reside in this area.
Aquanaut
diving specialise in taking people diving who have never dived before, even some that
are afraid of the water. We are also proud to boast of certifying over 100
divers last season and hope to certify many more in the season of 2008.
Certified divers are often so surprised of the amount of aquatic life that they
see during their dives, that they come again and again.
Our dive sites are so local
that we can reach them within 20 to 50 minutes. These dive spots in Turgutreis have all been
discovered by Aquanaut
Diving
School
and are rich in nearly all species of Aegean fish, crustaceans, sponges, sea
anemones and Aegean corals.
This historical area was one
of the sea trade routes in ancient times, which is why you shouldn’t be
surprised to see different and fascinating types of amphora (ancient pottery)
and anchors.

you will be diving for your first time, becoming a certified diver, diving with
us as a diver, or doing your advanced, rescue or even dive master course,
